HALFWAY MARK, and I HAVE TWO NEW PROJECTS TO FOCUS ON.
Monday daze;
Started of my Monday Morning with a text from Mindy telling me to meet her at her apartment because my new project (and probably the scariest of all) is space planning and fully furnishing her apartment. I know what you're thinking: "it's not that bad! just throw some ideas together" But lets think about this for a moment. My boss, who has a true talent for Interior Design, just asked ME, her intern, to furnish and space plan her apartment. YIKES SO SCARY!!! So I met Mindy at her apartment to get some sloppy field measurements. Just look at the picture... they are SLOPPYYYYY, but they are accurate and thats all the matters!
We discussed some cool ideas and cool furniture pieces she has been eyeing and from there I got to work putting the shell into revit and I started my research!!!!
Between time I spent a little time on our Leto Shores project by creating some more schedules for the contractor. SCHEDULES ON SCHEDULES ON SCHEDULES. Pretty quick Monday but all in all, we got a lot accomplished, and I got the scariest solo project ever!!!!
TUESDAY
Once again my photoshop skills came in handy as I took on the task of creating a professional sign for Mindy Webb Design to put out on job sites! As soon as I finished up with this I took another whack at the space planning and selections for Mindy's apartment. Until 1 pm when it was time to make a trip over to the Leto Shores home to meet a custom concrete guy who is planning to create a concrete countertop at the outdoor kitchen area. This man's work is amazing. He created a countertop out of concrete that resembled a piece of drapery. Amazing how talented he is!! Afterwards we took a little trip downtown then came back to the office to review my current selections for her apartment and start breaking down the nitty gritty. What a day. Lots of movement...I am not one to enjoy sitting in an office all day that is for sure!!!
Wednesday!!! NEW CLIENT WOHOOOOO
YALL!!!! Today we went and met Mindy Webb Design's new client and she is the sweetest woman with the MOST BEAUTIFUL CONDO in Siesta Key!!!!! So this condo had a million dollar view from every window you look at.... (yes I am attaching pictures...but keep reading first!!!) This client is looking to renovate her entire condo starting with the flooring, building up to the ceiling. Basically this condo's view is beautiful and we want it to match the interior of the home.
Another funny story...She has the coolest wall covering in her dining area, I am obsessed with it. Sadly she is getting rid of it. BUT if you have been keeping up with my blog (!!!!! COUGH COUGH!!!!!) then you know I have a problem petting walls according to my step sister. So for your joy and entertainment, here is a photo of me petting the wall. I had to!!!
But anyways, back to the day. We then made our way over to Fine Craft custom cabinetry, and let me tell you. I can pick out tile and backslashes and paint samples all day, but I don't think I have veer done custom cabinetry!! Learning something new everyday over here in Sarasota, Florida. WOHOOOO. We picked out so many options and looked at so many styles I was blown away!! But let me just say, this is going to be a beautiful renovation. AND WE ARE REMOVING ALL THE BOARDERS IN THE SHOWERS AND BATHROOMS. TILE BOARDERS ARE OUT PEOPLE

Thursday!
Spent the day at home, days off are my favorite days because I get to go to the gym and get my hair and nails done.... Don't judge me for being high maintenance.
FRIYAYYYYYYY WEEKEND WOHOOOOO
I worked from home and enjoyed the company of my friends while I worked on Space Planning and making the final touches to Mindy's apartment. Also I just want everyone to see how crazy Florida Weather is. Shortly after I took this picture, half of my car was being rained on.... HALF!!!!
HAPPY WEEKEND!!!! I am spending my weekend celebrating one of my favorite people, DALLAS!!!, for her 22nd birthday!!! ALL WEEKEND. (Mrs. Claire I know you're reading this... She is celebrating for a weekend for her 22nd. Don't judge me for celebrating for two weeks for my 21st!! I will limit myself next year...)

Honestly I am working on my coffeee addiction so I have been drinking a London Fog Tea Latte this week. This weather has had my allergies going cray, tea lattes help. & they make me smile.
