Sadly, this blog will be very short. I worked from home almost everyday this week!!

MONDAY!!!!

WORKED FROM HOME, Working on Mindy Webb Design website and collecting data about my boss!! It really interesting to see how diverse she is!! Mindy has worked all ends of the spectrum in Interior Design. From Hospitality to Sales to High End Residential Design.

Tuesday :)

my calling is branding...I can tell you that much right now!!!! I spent today editing some logos for a business that Mindy is helping to jumpstart. My photoshop skills are not lacking thats for sure ;), quick and easy day. Then I got to spend time with my friends having "family dinner" and enjoying a good ole game of clue.

WEDNESDAY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

I have nothing for you today. VACAYYYYY, I spent the day setting off fireworks with my family and enjoying my stepdads FAMOUS RIBS. Okay they aren't actually famous, but his secret recipe should be ;)))))

Heres some pictures of me trying not to get hit by fireworks and playing with sparklers.

THURSDAY HEY HEY

Working from home (again) ((I AM NOT COMPLAINING)).

Today I specified flooring direction for our Siesta Key condo and began scheduling all the materials for her project. Thats all, but you could be surprised how long it takes to collect a ton of information about each material!!

FRIYAY

BACK AT THE OFFICE!!!! Today I experienced something new...

1. Returning Samples alone (not as scary as you think and I gained some major muscles)

2. Talking to different Reps (ALONE) about pricing on shell stone pavers.

Okay, it's kinda scary talking to reps about pricing if you need to be a specific price point. Some won't do it, especially if its a quality material! Which, Shellstone is a very high quality material and has a lot of worth behind it here. BUT!!! One of our favorite flooring spots in Sarasota came through at the exact dime we needed her to!! (YES I DID THAT, ALL BY MY LONESOME!!)

Afterwards, Mindy and I made our way over to Siesta Key to meet with our designer from FineCraft Cabinets to field measure and go over our materials again. I love this client. Some clients you just love to be around and you truly enjoy their ideas and their excitement on a project. This is one of those clients. It's always good to have clients who understand design and understand style within the space they live. It doesn't happen all the time, but we are blessed to have her as a client!
